Personal

Sean Mueller grew up in Beverly Hills, MI with his parents, Cathy and Phil, and his older sister, Megan. He attended Wylie E Groves High School and played football on the defensive line. Sean’s team turned around a consistently bad program to win their division for the first time in over 20 years at his school.

Sean attended Central Michigan University where he earned his degree in Personal Financial Planning. He was involved in Sigma Pi fraternity, the Future Financial Advisors Association, and the Interfraternity Council.  In his senior year, Sean was recognized as one of five students to receive the STAR student award, an award for excellent leaders within the student body at CMU. Sean also served as the president of the Interfraternity Council which oversees and manages the presidents of all the fraternities on campus. The PFP program gave Sean the opportunity to take and pass the CFP exam while in his last year of college.

Sean strongly believes that Northwestern Mutual and his colleagues have helped him grow as much personally as they have professionally. Sean has lost 100 pounds during his time at Northwestern Mutual and continues to grow in his fitness journey through a healthy lifestyle.
